This is so nicely done. I even like your signature.
These are my most favorite colors right now.
I'm going to glaze one of my walls, hopefully close to the color tones you've created here. This is even the exact shade of brown I hope to mix for accent along the ceiling and corners.
Now you've got me wondering if I could work in some clouds.
"FLYING HIGH" made such a pretty scene.
I was excited when I saw a note from you. I've been strictly limiting my dA time lately. Had to stop to give the other parts of my life some attention.
It was such a coincidence when this beautiful image from you popped up on my screen.
To guide my inspiration for my wall, I clipped a little ad out of a magazine. That reference is from a www. address...fadedplains.com
I don't even know where this clipping I'm holding came from.
My stock/resources for my traditional art had always been from magazines,,,
Boxes, then drawers full of things I've torn out of discarded magazines. Things I love.
I never expected to post and sell my art, I have no training in art.
So I didn't give any thought to the idea that these things have an artist behind THEM. And that those artists/photograpers could feel robbed by me for using their images.
I'm talking about big name perfume companies and other advertisements.
I loved collecting that stuff. Probably part of why I enjoy doing this paintresseye thing here, for your style of art.
When I had an antique shop I liked to keep an area for found-object, assemblage artists. Hadn't yet occurred to me that I was an artist too.
I'm kind of heart broken about all my stuff I've collected from magazines. I don't know if I can rightfully still use some of it.
That is what brought my traditional art to a screeching halt.
I don't even have a printer yet, to try to use stuff I could download from dA.
But I'm very happy to have found you. I can follow your trail to some of the great models and things I could use from the stock community here. For traditional art. I can't imagine ever mastering any of your skills.
Anyway, FLYING HIGH is great. I hope to pull it together to make a nice presentation in my journal.
The idea of breaking free, lifting off, rising above...I feel like painting things that give expression to this theme. It is what I am feeling in my life.
Wishing you a happy New Year, in case I don't contact you again before then.
